IGCSE Certificate: The Cambridge IGCSE certificate is awarded to students aged 14 to 16. It is developed by the University of Cambridge International Examinations, also known as CIE.
The Cambridge IGCSE examinations are conducted in the months of May and October and results are released in August and January respectively.
The Cambridge IGCSE certificate is equivalent to the GCSE examinations in UK and GCE O Levels in Singapore.

Cambridge IGCSE Curriculum
A student will be awarded the ICE (International Certificate of Education) for those who achieve 7 subject passes (from A* to C) across the following groups:
There are 5 groups students have to choose their subjects from and they are Languages, Humanities and Social Sciences, Sciences, Mathematics and Creative and Professional.
The ICE is awarded in three grades: Distinction, Merit, and Pass. It requires 2 passes in Languages, and one pass in every other group, whilst the seventh subject may be in any group to qualify for an award.

Students are graded on the scale of A* to G, A* being the highest achievable grade and G being the lowest.
